VEB Haldensleben East Germany GDDR jug or vase with bobble cortina style cream and green glaze

Super rare nineteen fifties/early 60s East Germany vars with a Cortina like glaze from VEB Haldensleben.

Great shape - really organic curvy and classic mid century vibe, the glaze is really different, bubbled cloudy raised effect is incredibly tactile and looks fantastic.

On the underneath is the printed model code and in very faint emboss underneath is Germany and GDR very hard to pick up!

Much more common to get pieces from West Germany these are available readily East German pottery is much harder to get hold of and we think this is a stunning piece.

Condition is great, no chips marks or cracks visible
