Large brutalist brown Danish ceramic stoneware conical mid century scandi vase

One of my favourite recent finds, a chunky heavy piece with loads of texture and character.

It is super heavy, the base is thick and the heavy textured stoneware is full of tactility. Simple cone shape topped with a nice round lip.

There are no marks or makers labels that I can see, it was bought in West Denmark and is similar to much of the classic ‘Stentoj’ or stoneware - found in Denmark from the 60s and 70s.

There are some small marks and chips to the surface but nothing to detract from its beauty. Check photos.
