Vintage Ercol Model 459 coffee table with magazine shelf painted dark purple beetroot

We’ve sold loads of these over the years, an absolute classic - perfect rounded edges and full of those Ercol details that are so recognisable.

We generally aim to repair pieces back to the original, but on occasssion the need arises to do something different. It was great to be able to create something a little special out of this vintage piece.

Using Habitat Beetroot, a colour we have had saved for a while (which is currently very much on trend) - we have given it a bold and fitting flash of colour. Nice durable Matt varnish finish.
