Norwegian Hjellegjerde dark brown leather recliner with bentwood swivel base scandi mid century

Such a comfy chair - 360 swivel base, reclines easily, mechanism can be adjusted to different pressure, adjustable headrest.

Close competitor to Ekornes, the build quality of these Norwegian chairs is exceptional, beautiful leather, ergonomic design and soft fluffy filling.

It is very hard to capture the colour on photos, but it is a really nice dark brown, with the odd variation in tone that has occurred over the years.

The body and seat of the chair are in great condition, the arms have some wear and cracking evident - still looks nice and perfectly fine as is.

The wooden base and arm supports look great, nice tone and grain with hardly a mark.
