Arne Jacobsen inspired egg chair vintage piece black faux leather with chrome 4 star base

Not an original Jacobsen chair, but one of the best examples I have seen. It is not one of the many recent knock offs that have flooded the market - this is more than 20 years old, solid and well built.

The fabric is lovely and soft, a high quality faux leather that has the odd nice wrinkle in it from the years of love and use.

There are the odd scratch and sign of wear in places around the chair, these are reflected in the price - they are to be expected from years of good use, still great to use and its an affordable way of getting a good quality version of an icon.

Base is in good nick, some foxing to the finish but overall very nice and bright.

The lever mechanism doesn't seem to work, it should fix the chair in position if you don't want it to rock gently. As it is, it is really nicely weighted and you get a lovely movement when the chair is sat on. This might be fixable, but we don't want to mess with it!
