Vintage Nissen Danmark postmodern salt and pepper grinders with Cole and Mason mechanism

These are the slim versions of a classic Danish design which is usually ball shaped. They are fitted with Cole and Mason mechs, an historic British maker of grinders. They are in lovely clean condition.

They have been cleaned, emptied and the grinders checked - so all works well. These are emptied by removing the handles and filling from the top.

These were probably a corporate gift at some point, as ‘NOVO’ is printed on the underside - this is common in Denmark and thankfully this is hidden when on show!
