Stag Fineline dressing table / desk by John & Sylvia Reid - mid century

Designed in the late 50s and sold in the early 60s, this dressing table was part of the highly collectable Fine Line series of products, created by the legends John & Sylvia Reid - a simple yet striking set of pieces that mixed mid century with Modernist minimal clean lines.

Beautiful honeyed Birch pin striped veneer with satinised steel lip handles, finished off with a black skirting and simple steel legs. Long simple mirror completes the piece.

Please check all measurements if you want it as an every day desk.

This desk is missing the black skirting from one side, shown in photos. The mirror isn't tilting at the moment, but might be an easier fix.

Condition is good, especially for their age, the veneer has some spots of discolouration on the top and dings - but looks good, some fading due to sun. please check photos.
