Pair of mid century Gordon Russell Burford carver chairs with Bute herringbone wool seat - singles available

These chairs are a perennial favourite of ours, perfectly proportioned, comfy and just the right amount of detailing. Can be used as dining, occasional and lounge chairs.

Available in a number of different finishes - teak, mahogany, oak, rosewood and more. One is oak and the other we believe is mahogany, they are pretty similar in tone and work well together, check photos to see the slight differences.

The Burford range was designed by WH 'Curly' Russell and exhibited at the Festival of Britain in 1951 - they stayed in production for over 20 years.

We have fully restored the seats with new foam, straps and recovered it in Bute 100% wool Herringbone fabric. All fully fire safety compliant.

There are some minor nicks and scrapes to the finish to be expected for their age.
