High quality large wooden storage / archival artefact box mid century museum

Stunning wooden boxes that were once used in the British Museum. Incredibly strong and built to last, they have been in use and still look great.

Built from top quality ply bound with metal reinforced corners and a drop in lid.

They have two brass frames on the front to add a title or description of contents - and a handle either end.
Each one has a reinforced bottom and an individual printed mark, they are all from the late 50s to early 60s.

Price is for one - we currently have 4.

They can be used as stackable storage pieces, or as a side or coffee table with the top on.
