Stag Fineline dressing table / desk by John & Sylvia Reid - mid century

Designed in the late 50s and sold in the early 60s, this dressing table was part of the highly collectable Fine Line series of products, created by the legends John & Sylvia Reid - a simple yet striking set of pieces that mixed mid century with Modernist minimal clean lines.

Beautiful honeyed Birch pin striped veneer with satinised steel lip handles, finished off with a black skirting and simple steel legs.

Beautiful wrap around shape with adjustable mirrors and white laminated top and glass shelf. Six drawers with a pull out tray above the centre kneehole.

Condition is good, especially for their age, the veneer has some small spots of wear and dings - but looks great, some fading due to sun, shown in photos - but doesn't detract at all.
