Vintage large still life oil painting signed RT with bottles and drinks on a table

Skilfully painted still life piece, showing a variety of bottles on a dining room table. It has been mounted in a nice complimentary wooden frame that shows some signs of wear but is still solid and looks in keeping.

The focus on bottles and containers reminds us of the work of Giorgio Morandi, though obviously in a different style.

We cannot find out any more details about the artist, it is initialled on the bottom right with ‘RT’ but nothing else has come up!

From the look of the frame and the back of the canvas it probably dates to the 1960s or 70s.
