Pair of 1990s vintage Ikea Öglan/Öglett bentwood Thonet style plastic stools by Gillis Lundgren.

Dated to January 1996 by the stamp on the underneath, these are part of a range that Lundgren designed for Ikea - taking influence from the Thonet bentwood bistro pieces of the 19th century - and updating them with modern plastic materials.

The cushion seats are easily removable, Velcro holds them in place - so can be reupholstered easily.

There is a spot of discolouration on one of the spacers in-between the legs, shown in photos. Not that noticeable as it is light.

They are solid and strong and look great.
